Students will remain in the gym after prayer circle. We will space out at the tables set up and students will decorate coffee cup sleeves and labels for mini candy bars with messages of thanks for our community helpers (nurses, doctors, police, fire, EMT, teachers, etc). Those will be packaged up with coffee and candy and delivered.
Dress: Stripes
This includes any school appropriate clothing that has stripes on it. A striped shirt with jeans, striped pants with plain shirt, striped socks, striped leggings under a school jumper, striped everything, etc. is all acceptable.
The teachers will serve Pizza Hut pizza to the students during the normal lunch hour. Lunch will be in the classrooms. Students may bring their own beverage of choice. Hot lunch (max sticks) will still be served as an alternative if your child doesn’t want pizza.
1:00 pm 8th Grade vs Faculty Volleyball Game
The 8th grade students & participating faculty will be competing in the gym. We will space out in the bleachers to watch the game in person.
8th grade parents ONLY are allowed to come watch the game. We will live stream the game on our YouTube channel at

Each class will come up with their own country name and colors. Teachers please enter your class colors and name into the google doc sent you via email so we don’t have too much overlap. You will decorate your doors for this day with your country’s colors and name.
Each class country will have a team for 1.Downhill Skiing 2.Bobsled 3. Downhill Snowboarding 4.Curling & 5.Sledding Each team will design and create their own “athletes” out of the STEM supplies provided and bring them to the gym to compete. Teachers please see the STEM files sent to you via email. Supplies can be picked up in the library when they’re ready.

The same process for naming finalists for each grade will be followed as in the past and those students will come to the gym to compete with each other. All students will watch from the bleachers. Letter of Thanks
Students will hand write and/or decorate Thank You cards to be sent to our local area Priests, Deacons, Sisters, and Brothers. We will give each teacher verbiage for the thank you cards. Older students will hand write and younger students will decorate pre written cards.
P.A.T. sponsored lunch for all the teachers and staff in the teacher’s lounge over the lunch period.
1:00 p.m. Honorary Giant Mass & Reception
Mass will begin at 1:00 pm. 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students will attend the mass. Students will sit towards the back of the church behind those who attend.
The reception will immediately follow the mass in the Goetzman Gymnasium. Guests will sit in the chairs set up on the gym floor and the students will spread out in the bleachers.
After the presentation, students will return to their classrooms. (Instead of getting a cookie from the table as they leave, like in years past, we will have cookies sent to each classroom to maintain covid protocols.) Guests of the honorary giant reception are free to enjoy the complimentary juice and cookies.
